The official policy for this blog is set forth in the numbered policy terms on the list below. 1)     All persons, groups, or organizations who post comments on this blog are responsible for being fully aware of this policy before posting any comments.  Claiming ignorance of this policy is no excuse for violating the policy.

(18)  If you are a professional archaeologist who has committed, is committing, or is planning to commit any sort of illegal actions or activities, you are not allowed to admit to such activities in your comments on this blog. If you are an artifact collector who has committed, is committing, or is planning to commit any sort of illegal actions or activities, you are not allowed to admit to such activities in your comments on this blog.

Professional archaeologists are barred from using their comments on this blog to coax, interrogate, or otherwise draw individual artifact collectors into admitting to illegal actions or activities. An open, honest, and frank discussion between professional archaeologists and artifact collectors cannot be fruitful or useful if it is conducted in a climate of fear.  A climate of fear shall not be instilled on this blog, and it shall not be tolerated on this blog.

If a professional archaeologist or artifact collector intentionally or inadvertently posts a comment containing information or data that by some odd and unexpected pathway somehow leads to their arrest, prosecution, and conviction for a crime,  the professional archaeologist or artifact collector who made the comment agrees to hold the blog owner, moderators, editors, contributors, authors, commenters, all subsidiaries, and all representatives harmless from any and all damages, liabilities, or repercussions that might arise from their arrest, prosecution, or conviction for their crime. In other words, if you break the law and leave information or data about it on this blog, and it leads to your arrest, prosecution, and conviction, the blog owner, moderators, editors, contributors, authors, commenters, all subsidiaries, and all representatives accept no responsibility whatsoever for your arrest, prosecution, and conviction.  It is all on you.
